Cotton Comes Back and Closes Higher

Wednesday cotton trading rallied back from midday losses and closed mostly in the black. July ’21 futures were 5 points lower but the other nearbys gained 1 to 10 points. WTD cotton sales reported by The Seam were 9,862 bales for a wtd ave price of 59.43 cents/lb. ICE certified stocks as of the 13th were 24,232 bales, which is up 396 from the 12th. The Cotlook A index rose another 80 points on 10/13 to 74 cents. The AWP for cotton is 51.48 cents/lb, with an 0.52 cent LDP.

Dec 20 Cotton closed at 68.93, up 10 points,

Mar 21 Cotton closed at 69.72, up 8 points

May 21 Cotton closed at 70.41, up 1 point

Jul 21 Cotton closed at 70.92, down 5 points
